Join us for the next Largo ShredFest event on Saturday, July 21 from 9a-12p. This easy, drive-through event lets residents to bring up to five boxes of documents for free and secure on-site shredding and recycling.

Largo offers comprehensive trash and recycling services in order to keep our future Largo sustainable for generations. For requests or issues related to trash, recycling or bulky pick up visit the request center, or for questions about commercial collection, call Solid Waste at 727-587-6760.  You can also report a service issue or container repair/replacement, or view trash and recycling rates.

What can you recycle? 
Remember, NO plastic bags or Styrofoam and only place the following clean, dry items in your cart: 
  • Cardboard
  • Mixed Paper
  • Plastic containers #1-7
  • Aluminum, Tin or Steel Cans
  • Glass Bottles & Jars
  • Paper Milk or Juice Cartons

Drop off Locations
Largo offers two 24-hour recycling centers and even a location with free mulch for your home. No electronics, chemicals or plastic bags are accepted at these locations.

Yard & Bulky Waste
Yard Waste is collected on your recycling day. Please place items by the curb, at least 3 feet away from all other objects including wires. For more information call 727-587-6760.
