Polling Places and Hours
Monday, August 6: County Candidate filing begins.
Wednesday, August 29: County Candidate filing deadline.
Monday, October 8: Absentee Voting can begin at 8:00 AM in the Auditor’s Office and first day to mail out Absentee Ballots
Saturday, October 27:
- Deadline to request an Absentee ballot by mail. Absentee Ballot Request forms must be received in the Auditor’s Office by 5:00 PM, Friday, October 26th in order for an absentee ballot to be mailed.
- Voter Pre-Registration Deadline.
- Auditor's office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The deadline to pre-register to vote for the General election is 5 p.m. This applies to registration in person (including registration at driver’s license stations or agencies) or by mail.
Exceptions: Mailed registration forms postmarked on or before Monday, October 22nd, are considered on time even if they are received after 5 p.m. on October 26th.
After October 26th, a person may register to vote at the auditor’s office or a satellite voting station and vote an absentee ballot. The process is the same as for registering to vote on election day.
**Each voter will be asked to provide identification at the polling place before receiving and casting a ballot. Voters who do not have the necessary ID will be asked to sign an oath verifying their identity**
